Workplace Environmental Changes May Help Prevent Obesity
Simple changes to the workplace environment may help to reduce obesity and other health risks, reports a study in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. In the study, facilities underwent a series of environmental interventions designed to promote healthier lifestyles. For example, vending machines and cafeterias were stocked with healthy food choices, marked walking paths were established, and signs were strategically placed encouraging increased physical activity.

Case Management
Pulse Occupational Medicine's case management program offers your business prompt access to a variety of medical specialists. A case manager is assigned to an injury case, from the first day of an employee’s injury through his or her return to work. The case manager tracks and coordinates all details of the case, ensuring rapid return to work and on-going, timely communication between the physician, employer and employee. All results are sent to employers within 48 hours of receipt.
